We collect your personal details for the purpose of giving access to the comments sections of the Pathways site and – subject to your agreement – notifying you of relevant news.

Your name

We are welcome to sign in with a pseudonym for the comments.  However in the interests of open discussion and networking we encourage you to use your real name if you can.

Your email address

We collect your email address for the purposes of – subject to your agreement – sending you emails about Pathways to Survival news.

If you agree to receive emails, you can opt out later.

We will not pass your email address on to any third party.

Your organisation

We are hoping to build a coalition of organisations who support the vision of this project, so we are asking you if you belong to an organisation that may be interested in this.   

However this is optional and we do not assume that you are speaking for an organisation that you name unless you state that you are doing so.


Your personal details will be stored securely on the server of the web hosting service we have used for this Pathways to Survival campaign, and may be accessed only by Extinction Rebellion Pathway to Survival volunteers and only for the purposes stated above.

Earlier Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to our Pathways to Survival campaign, and is different from our policy for our Open Letter to Jacinda Ardern. That campaign collected names and personal details for an Open Letter presented to the Prime Minister in October 2021.
